Grand seiko VS Omega constellation

Omega and Grand seiko are brands that offer exceptional value. from their movements to the finishing at their price range is something rare. Omega is more well known ovisly the brand has so many iconic watches at their lineup, the speedmaster and seamster for instance. Grand seiko is more enveloped and hasn't gone completely mainstream. both the brands are pioneers in the horological space, omega adopting George daneals CO-Axel movement and grand seiko creating the spring drive. these watches are quiet similar as they both are a hybrid between a sports watch and a dress watch and are fantastic daily wearer's that go with lets say casual to maybe a tuxedo without impinching.

the constellation is striking watch with a ceramic bezel, larger case, the linen pattern dial and lug less design gives it diffrent feel on the wrist and makes it sit perfectly. the case is a traditional constellation case with the claws on the bezel. the dial is a striking linen pattern which almost gives it a look of metriate and plays with light. the hands and indicies are white gold, the hands are lumed, minimallly and the date is positioned at 6.

the GS sky falake is more traditional and reserved part of the elegnce collection it has a classic styling that is more dressy. the 39mm case is ziratshu polished whihch is japanise for black polish. the skyfalke nickname comes from the dial,

lets talk about the movements in this particular case they are equally impressive, interms of fisnih, accuaracy and relaiabliity. lets strat with the CO-Axial created by arguably the greatest watchmaker in the past hundred years George Daniel's. the coaxial is an escapment (descrbe how it works) the finsining is also quite impressive, the machine finsinhed stripes makes it stand out and the arcituture is quite symetriacal. the movement has two barrels to aid in accuracy and power resreve of 60 hours. the spring drive is a completly diffrent concept it is driven by a quartz ausilator's

the constllation is equpped with a hybrid of alligator on top and rubber on the bottom strap with a deplyent buckle.
